iMoot 2010

On behalf of the imoot2010 team, I want to say thank you to everyone who has taken part in the inaugural imoot either as a participant or presenter. I'd also like to say a special thank you to Julian and Leonie who have put in countless hours and shed much blood to make this event happen.

We have received a lot of positive feedback and some great suggestions on how we might improve the event in 2011 and we look forward to making announcements about imoot2011 very soon.

On behalf of the entire organising Committee I would like to thank all of you who attended iMoot2010 and helped make this event such a success. As an inaugural event we set ourselves high goals and we believe that with your help we exceeded them. But why should we say what we think? You should be telling us!

We would like to invite all attendees to fill out our short and sweet Conference Feedback form. This anonymous survey will give us an insight into what worked and what didn't so we can make next year's (yes, I did say next year's!) event an even bigger success!

Once you have completed the form you will also be able to download this year's Attendance Certificate to proudly hang on your wall, or at least use for PD funding purposes.

Has this happened to you over the past 36 hours?

A great session was on at 3am when you were in your right mind sleeping peacefully
Two awesome sessions were on at the same time making you choose favourites.
You were on Twitter and heard cool stuff about a session that you just didn't think of attending.

If this is you then have we got just the right answer to perk you up again. In your program you may have noticed that all the previously live delivered sessions are now available in "Repeat" mode.

Repeat mode allows you to:

Watch the session all over again in the Elluminate Room just as if you were there in person (online, kinda personable. You know what I mean).
Participate in the Live chat room. Here you can discuss with other attendees the repeated session. Plus, in most cases, the Presenters will rejoin you for the last 30 minutes for a Q&A session.
If your Presenter can't make it (i.e. he/she is now sleeping or maybe at work) then you can ask your questions in the discussion forum for them to come back to you on.

So now you know iMoot2010 is far from over. Enjoy the session replays and make sure you also complete the feedback form for each session so that the presenter knows how they went.

	We've noticed that many people have signed up for sessions and not been attending them. In several cases this has prevented others from signing up because of the maximum limits. To this end we have increased the limits on all the sessions. So if you previously were unable to attend a session because it was full, you may wish to try again. All the best.
