iMoot 2011 site is up and running
by Julian Ridden - Tuesday, January 11, 2011, 06:24 PM
iMoot2011It has been just over a year and how time has flown. But it is that time again, time to announce the official launch of iMoot2011.

With a new iMoot event comes a new site. Please make sure to point your browser to to check out our new site. The forums are operational and registrations are open, this year with earlybird rates for those who want to get in before the rush.

We have also opened up our "Call for Presentations" as a Moodle Moot is for naught without content. Click here for details of the new streams that are available.

Lastly, a comment that we heard over and over again last year was "I didn't know iMoot was on". We would love to avoid this issue this year. We would like to encourage you to share the word on your internal and online social networks so that more can be aware (and hopefully join in) with iMoot in 2011. We have setup Facebook and LinkedIn pages to help in this. You can also follow the official Twitter feed.

This will be the last post on the iMoot 2010 site and we look forward to seeing you at iMoot 2011.

iMoot 2011 is coming
by Julian Ridden - Monday, November 29, 2010, 03:03 PM

As we near the end of 2010 it is probably time to start talking about the fun times ahead in 2011. iMoot WILL BE BACK!

Feedback from this year's event was that the January holiday break did not work well for many as it coincided with well earned holiday breaks. So in 2011 we have shifted the date to mid year.

The new site will be operation in the next few weeks (running Moodle 2 no less) and taking submissions for presentations as well as sponsorships. If you have questions before then please use the "Contact Us" form to send us your queries.

Thank you

On behalf of the imoot2010 team, I want to say thank you to everyone who has taken part in the inaugural imoot either as a participant or presenter. I'd also like to say a special thank you to Julian and Leonie who have put in countless hours and shed much blood to make this event happen.

We have received a lot of positive feedback and some great suggestions on how we might improve the event in 2011 and we look forward to making announcements about imoot2011 very soon.

iMoot Attendance Certificates now available
by Julian Ridden - Saturday, February 6, 2010, 04:32 PM
Attendance Certificates
On behalf of the entire organising Committee I would like to thank all of you who attended iMoot2010 and helped make this event such a success. As an inaugural event we set ourselves high goals and we believe that with your help we exceeded them. But why should we say what we think? You should be telling us! smile

We would like to invite all attendees to fill out our short and sweet Conference Feedback form. This anonymous survey will give us an insight into what worked and what didn't so we can make next year's (yes, I did say next year's!) event an even bigger success!

Once you have completed the form you will also be able to download this year's Attendance Certificate to proudly hang on your wall, or at least use for PD funding purposes.

Stay tuned for a formal announcement on next years event details.
