Major Updates for iMoot2010
by iMoot Admin - Wednesday, January 13, 2010, 11:02 AM
Well, all has been quiet here for a while with a lot of work happening in the background. As we now are only a little way out from the event I thought it time we start regular updates. This is a biggie as we head towards iMoot2010.

Elluminate comes aboard as Technical Sponsor
Powered by ElluminateWe are very proud to announce that Elluminate have come on board as the iMoot2010 Technical sponsor. We will be using Elluminate Live! to deliver both live and pre-recorded sessions. Most I am sure are already aware of Elluminate and what they do, but if not, you can check them out at this link. More information about how this will work in the conference setting will be explained in another post shortly.

RegisterWell, this has been a doozy for us. Registrations are not yet open as we wanted to ensure we had the process down perfectly before we launched. They will however be open NEXT WEEK! I can announce the following.
Tickets for iMoot2010 will be only $45AUS and this will provide access to all sessions as well as the recordings after the fact. Please stay tuned for full details on how to register in the next couple of days.

Most speaker slots are now full. The teacher stream is completely occupied, but we still have some slots open for the Enterprise and Developer streams. If you think you, or someone you know, would be a good fit, please have them contact us ASAP so we can try and slot them into the program.

The program will be live in a couple of days but to tide you over until the big reveal I would like to announce Two Keynote speakers. iMoot2010 will see keynotes delivered by two people who really are at the core of Moodle Development.
  • Martin Dougiamas - Founder and Project Lead of Moodle
  • Helen Foster - Community Manager
If you have not heard either of these speakers before, then attendance is a must just for them! More program details to be released shortly.

With Elluminate now on board as our first formal Sponsor, we are now opening the doors for other sponsors to come on board. Do you have an education/Moodle focused brand that could benefit from exposure to the global Moodle audience through iMoot2010? If so please click here for sponsorship information or contact us today.

That's it for now. More details very shortly.
